March of Dimes March for Babies

From the Sorority’s inception, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has long demonstrated an interest in serving the needs of the community. Spanning the Sorority’s nearly forty-seven-year partnership with the March of Dimes, Zeta Phi Beta has been at the forefront of anticipating the ever-changing needs of society. By joining forces to conduct prematurity awareness activities in houses of worship and congregations, worshipers learn more about the infant health crisis that nearly half a million families cope with each year. Alpha Delta Zeta proudly supports this legacy of strong partnership with the MOD by raising donations during the March for Dimes March for Babies annual Walk and by leading the way with one of the most successful Stork’s Nest Partnerships in the Jackson Metropolitan Area.

Elder Care Initiative

Elder Care Initiative
Zeta Cares Initiative strives to provide education and awareness about preparing for your senior years. The African American community is least prepared when it comes to retirement, estate planning and understanding the legal and financial preparation needed to care for parents, grandparents and ultimately, for our own long term care. It is a comprehensive program that also focuses on elder abuse awareness, financial peace, supporting the caregiver and volunteering at senior care facilities.

Alpha Delta Zeta has been dedicated to servicing the seniors in our community throughout the year. Through our Elder Care Program, we have adopted Pine Forest Health and Rehab formerly Cottage Grove Nursing Home since 2011. We also host Bingo, Mother’s/Father’s Day, Veterans Day, Domestic Violence Awareness, Thanksgiving, Christmas and fellowship with the residents.
